In an exciting collaboration with Asia Market, Ireland’s premier Asian food purveyor since 1981, Bewley’s – Ireland’s first tea importer and a pioneer in our nation’s tea culture – has crafted a unique afternoon tea that promises to transport you on a sensory journey.

Experience an atmosphere of tranquil sophistication in our elegant upstairs space, adorned with its original 19th-century Japanese-themed wallpaper, enhanced with cherry blossoms and traditional Chinese music. Master bakers at Bewley’s have created an innovative menu that perfectly balances Eastern and Western flavours.

The three-tiered afternoon tea begins with savoury delights including a fragrant Chicken Rendang Tart, delectable Char Siu Brioche Bap, and a Sichuan Chilli Oil Infused Egg Mayonnaise Sandwich.

The renowned Bewley’s scones receive an Asian twist with Roasted Apple & Chinese Five Spice flavouring, while the patisserie selection showcases artistic creations including a whimsical Coconut Chantilly Panda Choux Bun with Raspberry crackling, an elegant Oolong Tea Mousse with Lychee Compote, Almond Cookie and Snake-shaped Meringue, and a rich Black Sesame Chocolate Cup with Peanut Sesame Seed oil.

Your experience includes our famed Bewley’s master-blended teas sourced directly from China, or coffee if preferred, served in keeping with our time-honored brewing traditions. Each guest will also receive a special Asia Market goodie bag to take home (subject to availability).
